Hello and welcome back to 2020!

The biggest news from the tuckshop is that there will be quite a big menu change this term.

The new menu will commence on Monday the 17 of February which is week 4 of this term, so please keep a lookout for the new menu which will be published on the school website closer to the time.

We are always looking for helping hands in the tuckshop, so if you are available to volunteer  for an hour or two on either, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays please come see me at the tuckshop on those days to give me your contact details. Alternatively, you can call me on my mobile number which is 0420218627 or you can send an email to tuckshopconvenor@ormistonss.eq.edu.au.

Volunteering in the tuckshop is a great way to get to know other parents of the school and become part of a very special community. We have many laughs and no special skills are required to come and assist, just a sense of humour and willingness to help.  We do however appreciate and will happily accept any skills you are willing to offer us to make our tuckshop the best tuckshop in the Redlands!

Tuckshop orders can be placed two ways.

The first way is traditional, which is coming to the tuckshop, writing your child’s name, class, menu items they want to order and for which breaks they want the order for, on a brown bag. Each break must have its own bag. Payment can either be made with cash or by EFT, and don’t worry we give change if you do not have the exact amount of money for the order. The change gets taped onto your child’s brown bag and they can bring it home if you are unable to come in with them to do the order.

The second way is using our online ordering system called Munch Monitor. With this method, you log onto www.munchmonitor.com.au, type in the following:

USER NAME: ormistonss

PASSWORD: munch4163

From there you go in and set up an account for each child or children and you can place orders for their tuckshop, as well as uniform orders. This method saves you having to come into school and waiting at the tuckshop counter. Please note the only downside is that the orders for the day have to be placed before 9am on that day.
